Jan's Confirmation
Having missed her original confirmation date through illness, on Monday 20th May, Jan Ball was confirmed at St. Cuthbert's Church in Churchtown alongside candidates from St. John's, Crossens, St Stephen's, Banks and, of course, St. Cuthbert's.
She was confirmed by Bishop Richard who led the service on a pentecostal theme. As is his custom he sprayed all the candidates and half the congregation with water to remind everybody of the promises made on their behalf at their baptism.
