Congratulations on your confirmation - Sam and Judith

On the evening of Tuesday 10th June, a bunch of us travelled down to Liverpool Cathedral for the confirmation of two of our members. Sam Jones and Judith Smith have been with us for some time, and decided that they should sign up fully by being confirmed.

The service was quiet, but just right. The confirming Bishop, John Hayden, led the service with a light touch and great warmth. His sermon on our need for the Holy Spirit to fill us day by day was spot on. 11 adult candidates were confirmed, coming from 7 different churches. There was a photo-call after the service, and our thanks go to Sally-Ann Tatlock for these photos.
