Mothers' Union Deanery Festival 2010

St John's Mothers' Union recently hosted The Mothers' Union Deanery Festival. Over 100 Mothers' Union members and their friends, from all the branches in the Southport area attended the special service at which the vicar, Philip Caton, preached and celebrated communion.

The MU visit to Liverpool Cathedral

Members of Mothers' Union and some of their friends visited the craft exhibition at Liverpool Cathedral on Thursday 17th April.

At the cathedral Ruth & Mary were awarded a certificate each for their joinery skills

Everyone was impressed by the sculptures (or was it the sculptors?) "I couldn't do anything like that" said Jo.

St John's MU in "Another Place"

Members of St John's Mother's Union braved the wind and rain on 3rd July to be photographed alongside one of Anthony Gormley's 'Iron Men'.
