How the ChristmasTree Festival went

If you missed it you missed a real treat!!

The Mayor of Sefton opened the festival with the help of some of the children and when the lights went on the church looked stunning. The children then performed "Stable Story" which was very well received by those present.

Everybody who attended the festival over the two days loved it and contributed generously to all the 26 charities. We don't yet know how much they all raised as the tress (and collecting boxes) remained in the church over the entire Christmas period and were only taken down on twelth night (Sunday 6th January).
It was also lovely to see and hear Farnborough Road Infants performing to an enthusiastic audience (see above) on the Saturday morning. A big THANK YOU goes to them from everybody at St John's.
