Community Heroes Award

Rachel, one of the Eagles' leaders writes -

The Eagles were nominated by Geoffrey Eliis for a Community Heroes Award. They were nominated in recognition of all the fund raising they have done over the last few years. In the last three yrears they have raised £8500 for Alder Hey, TEAR Fund and World Vision.

These awards are given to individuals and groups who have made an impact on the community where they live. They are awarded by The Visiter newspaper, Scottish Power and The Rotary Club.

The Eagles are very proud to have won the award for teams that have made a difference in their community. We will be going to Formby Golf Club on 30th June to receive our award. The award will be on display at the back of Church for everyone to see.

As you may have seen in the Visiter representatives of the Eagles did collect their award on 30th June and we look forwarded to presenting it to the whole group at 4U2@6 on Sunday 13th June.

WELL DONE EAGLES we are very proud of you all!
