On Saturday, 19th December, members of St. John's joined members of the other churches that comprise "Churches together in Birkdale" to sing Carols in Birkdale Village. As they sang the snow fell, which created a seasonal mood and added extra meaning to such lyrics as " ... as the snow lay round about, deep and crisp and
even"! As fingers and toes seemed to turn to ice all were grateful for the cups of tea and coffee provided by the local green grocer.
