This
year’s Christmas tree festival and market was held on the 2nd
and 3rd of December. It was another great success with
over 600 visitors. There was superb entertainment provided by the
choirs of Farnborough Road Infant and Junior schools.
Thank
you for everyone who helped organize, set up and staff this event, and
also for all the people who visited the event.
However
this years successful event was tinged with sadness with the death
earlier this year of Geoffrey Ellis, who played a key role in organizing previous festivals and church events.
The
trees sponsoring a total of 24 charities will be available to view
during all church services until Sunday 1st January.
