Eagles trip to London (November 2009)

On 21st November 7 Eagles went to London on the train, with their leaders, and helpers. They stayed the night at the County Hotel, Euston.
On the Saturday they went on a “Duck tour” around the streets of London and saw all the major attractions. The “duck” then splashed into the Thames and travelled along the river.

After that they went on the London Eye from which they had a good “bird’s eye” view of the city. They then went on to Covent Garden for a rest! They ended the day with tea at Pizza Express.

On the Sunday the Eagles and Shaun enjoyed an hour’s ice skating in front of Somerset House before it poured with rain. They returned to Southport on Sunday evening - exhausted!

The Eagles loved London and are VERY grateful to their leaders for arranging and joining them on the trip.

Thank you to Alan for these photos and Rachel for this write up.
